On Wednesday year 1 and year 2 went on an excursion to the opera house. We went there on a bus. It took 45 minutes to get to the Botanic Gardens on the bus. Then we walked to the opera house, it took 25 minutes. Then we watched a show, it was called Special Delivery. We had to wait areally long time until the show started.

First a man came along with alot of boxes. Next  Emily came out of one of the boxes. after that they unrapped one box, it made a funky sound. There was alot of shredded paper in the box, so they pulled it all out and one of the bunches of shredded paper was a little puppy. Then Emily put a big peice of paper in front of him and then he shrank. Soon the door opened and the tiny little man was swinging on a tiny little swing. then the story ends.

I loved it so much! My favourite part was that we got to see the Opera House! YAY!

On Thursday my family and I went to Yackandandah. It took seven hours to get there. I stayed at my Grandma’s house. When we herd that my Grandma’s chickens got eaten by a fox I was really sad because one of the chickens was called Emily chook. We had a BondFire. We toasted marshmellows. My grandma’s friend Jude has a really adorrible puppy called Jenna. She is two years old. The next day we were going to the lollie shop when we passed the gold shop. I got some loveheart shaped ruby earing, it’s really pretty. They costed eightey five dollars. I really love my earings. Then we went to the lollie shop and bought some mint choclate frogs, Turkish delight bombs, girls lollies and some lolliepops. they were really yummy.

One Christmas Eve in Bob’s bedroom Jing Jing and Chocolate Fudge saw HuanHuan crying. Jing Jing asked HuanHuan why he was crying. HuanHuan said his friend was lost in a creepy spooky forest.
 
Chocolate Fudge offered to go find his friend. HuanHuan said thankyou. So he went off to find his friend. But he got lost. He saw two yellow eyes peeking at him. It was a three towed sloth. The three towed sloth said “Hi!”.Chocolate Fudge then saw a gigantic snake. He took out his sword and killed it.
 
The next morning Chocolate Fudge got home. He was so happy that he started to cry.

After that HuanHuan went for a walk down the street. He walked past the Birds Nest. He found three tickets in the drain. HuanHuan went back home. He gave Jing Jing and Chocolate Fudge a ticket. The tickets were for the Olympics. So they went to the Olympics and saw the opening ceremony. Jing Jing liked the drums the best. HuanHuan liked the kid singing the best. Chocolate Fudge liked the people dancing and painting at the same time. They thought swimming was the best sport.
 
They had a magnificent time at the Olympics. When they got home they invited their friends over and had a great big feast. They lived happily ever after.

Mr Rees asked us to make a Van Gogh Sun Flowers. I chose to make different flowers. I used crepe paper for it.
